Also, completely unrelated:
I have pink hair now.
And I am moving to Arizona! So henceforth, everything that you see on this website is for sale. I’m driving 2000 miles in a little Honda Accord, and it would be silly to try to take all of this art I’ve accumulated over the years. So if you see something you like, shoot me an email [ chanonista (at!) gmail (dot?) com ] and we’ll talk. I’m just trying to get rid of it, so prices are very negotiable.

I just realized that I never posted the finished version of that painting, even though it’s been finished for an age and a half. Sorry? Here it is, regardless!

“How do you sleep at night?”

Today, I took apart my Wacom pen, fixed something in it, and put it back together!
That is a big deal for me, because usually I break things when I try to do things like that.
But not today! Today I made my broken pen work again.

Oh, I also inked a page and threw some quick gray tones on it.
I want to do the real thing in goache, because me and gouache have been having an affair since I was in high school, and I haven’t used it in too long.
I’ve never done grayscale in gouache, either, so it should be interesting?

Anyhow, here is the final inks + rough photoshop tone:
this is for you.

Hopefully the actual painting will be done by the end of the week. That’s my goal, at least.

It should be noted that the words are actually a quote by Brian Andreas.
